Job Description
The Senior Product Manager works autonomously in close collaboration with the Head of Product. Gathers insights, generates and refines ideas, and present well-thought-out recommendations, while always maintaining a strong partnership with the leadership team to align on major product decisions. Takes ownership of key aspects of the product lifecycle—from customer research and ideation to execution and delivery—while working closely with the Head of Product to shape the medium- and long-term vision for Craft Connect. Works independently on feature development and strategy, while collaborating to make critical decisions.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Vision & Execution: Works closely with the Head of Product to develop product roadmaps and strategies, contributing to both short- and long-term goals. Takes ownership of specific product initiatives, driving them forward independently while ensuring alignment on broader strategic directions. There may also be opportunities to lead the development of new products within our suite, depending on business needs and the candidate’s experience.
End-to-End Product Development: Leads the product lifecycle for assigned features and initiatives, from ideation to market delivery. Presents fully fleshed-out ideas, pros and cons, and recommendations for consideration, while ensuring collaborative decision-making for all major product directions.
Customer Research & Feedback: Conducts in-depth customer research, synthesizes insights, and develops actionable product improvements. Responsible for bringing forward ideas and solutions, versus only identifying problems.
Collaboration Across Teams: Works closely with engineering, data, and technical teams to ensure smooth execution of product features. Must be able to understand technical responses and assess proposed solutions.
Partnership & Stakeholder Management: May manage both internal and external stakeholders, filtering client feedback and negotiating product direction. Ensure the integration of client needs with Craft’s broader strategy as we expand apprenticeship degree programs into new verticals.
Agile Leadership: Leads sprints and collaborates in an agile environment, using product management tools in a lean but effective way. Manages rapid iteration cycles while remaining in close collaboration with leadership to maintain strategic alignment.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Educational Technology, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
