About the role:
The Optical Sales Associate is in charge of driving and reaching sales targets for optical revenue growth by catering to patients' needs in eyewear and ensuring that the overall chain of procedures, from frame merchandising to provision of eyewear, is continuous, completed, and accurate.
Your contributions are:
A. OPTICAL SALES PERFORMANCE AND CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT
Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively promoting and selling optical products and services.
Communicate the availability, uniqueness, and benefits of optical products and services to customers, encouraging their purchase or utilization.
Listen attentively to customers, understand their needs, and provide information on optical products and services with a focus on enhancing patient care and generating revenue.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, providing solutions, and maintaining professional and ethical standards.
B. OPTICAL INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Monitor inventory levels and inform the supervisor or internal team promptly about fast-moving stocks that require replenishment.
Follow guidelines such as the 5s (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) for optical supplies to ensure organized and efficient stock management.
Arrange displays and position frames with merchandising and marketing materials to attract and engage customers and enhance product visibility.
C. OPTICAL OPERATIONS SUPPORT
Document and report complaints and incidents promptly, coordinating closely with the supervisor, internal team, and Finance department as necessary.
Assist with operations basic issues and concerns related to product supply, sales, inventory, and account payables as directed by the supervisor.
Support the supervisor with templates such as Operations Management and Complaints and Incidents Management.
D. OPTICAL SERVICES INTERDEPARTMENTAL COLLABORATION
Collaborate with other departments as needed to ensure seamless patient care and operational efficiency.
Assist the Customer Services unit with business development initiatives to expand customer base and increase sales opportunities.
Support the vision screening team during corporate events, contributing to community outreach and brand visibility.
E. OPTICAL SERVICES BACKUP AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
Serve as backup for the Associate, Optical Technician when needed, assisting with technical aspects of optical services.
Assist the Associate, Optical Sales (Admin) with clerical tasks as required to maintain smooth departmental operations.
Qualifications:
Must have completed at least two (2) years of college education in any field.
Preferably with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in sales, customer relations, or a related role.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly, confidently, and persuasively.
Customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and ensuring a positive customer experience.
