Landrum and Brown is seeking a Fall Intern passionate about aviation planning and development to join our team in Chicago. This internship will provide support to project manager to fulfill client needs regarding airport planning projects.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works directly with clients on a variety of airport planning, noise abatement, and environmental/sustainability planning.
  • Participates and assists in organizing numerous community relations efforts and public meetings.
  • Develops and maintains electronic data sets and files and performs data analysis and comprehensive data reporting in a variety of tables, charts, and reports.
  • Prepares draft reports, presentations, schedules, meeting materials, and other deliverables based on direction from senior staff as well as individual efforts.
  • Provides technical assistance and is responsive to requests for data and information.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in related field of study
  • Passion for the Aviation sector
  • Highly articulate with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical/technical skills
  • High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair and sustainable way.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Knowledge or interest in the aviation industry and airport operations
