You will be working within our Global Network Services team to design, build, and implement complex Edge Network solutions according to new business requirements using defined Citi corporate standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce detailed Network Design Documents which conform to corporate standards and from them craft detailed Build Packages which include configurations, implementation plans and test plans.
  • Provide Domain Expertise for network products and technologies and assist with operational support of the environment, providing knowledge transfer of new products to other members of your own team and other teams where necessary.
  • Assist with the network automation development.
  • Provide technical/strategic direction to team members
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience in network design & build roles centered around infrastructure delivery with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement
  • Strong working knowledge of main routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, RIP.
  • Ability to work with virtual / in-person teams, and work under pressure / to a deadline
  • Understanding of how specialization within area contributes to the business and of competitors' products and services
  • Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • CCNP/CCDP/JNCIP-ENT/JNCIS-SEC or higher certification preferred.
