SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our growing team in China. As a key technical expert, you will drive sales growth by providing exceptional support for Allegro's cutting-edge magnetic sensor solutions. You will collaborate closely with customers, distributors, and internal teams to understand their needs, solve technical challenges, and uncover new application opportunities. Your deep understanding of magnetic sensing principles and automotive electronics will be instrumental in this role.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide comprehensive technical support for Allegro's magnetic sensor portfolio, guiding customers and distributors in product selection, troubleshooting, and successful implementation.

  • Develop and deliver technical training programs on Allegro's magnetic sensor products and applications to customers and distributors.

  • Collaborate with regional sales managers to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth, leveraging your technical expertise to identify and cultivate new application opportunities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor and advocate for their needs.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats, providing insightful reports to headquarters business units.

  • Partner effectively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and quality, to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve technical challenges

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (EE) and at least three years of work experience in the Electronics/Automotive industry

  • A proactive approach, strong sense of ownership, and ability to work well in a team

  • Experience in engineering magnetic sensor products and interface sensors for automotive applications is advantageous

  • Solid understanding of magnetic sensing principles, such as Hall, AMR, GMR, TMR

  • Comprehensive knowledge of semiconductors and a variety of electronic systems

  • Capability to learn new products, applications, and technologies independently

  • Proficient communication skills in both Chinese and English

  • Familiarity with 2D/3D magnetic simulation tools, such as Comsol or Ansoft Maxwell, is beneficial

  • Willingness to travel occasionally
