We are currently searching for a Portfolio and Program Manager to join our team and lead the coordination of new initiatives and programs across the company. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong talent for portfolio management and effective communication with various stakeholders, ensuring a cohesive approach to achieving organizational goals.

Objectives of this Role:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a portfolio of initiatives that align with our organizational objectives and strategic vision.
  • Assume complete ownership of the assigned portfolio, with a comprehensive understanding of its components, objectives, timelines, and stakeholder requirements.
  • Organize and maintain consistent governance across all identified stakeholder groups to ensure effective oversight of portfolio activities.
  • Ensure portfolio goals are met in alignment with the priorities and methodologies established for our team.
  • Support our internal PM organization and collaborate with other team members to enhance portfolio performance.

Scope of Work Includes, but is Not Limited to:

  • Daily contact with key individuals to ensure consistent alignment and delivery of portfolio initiatives.
  • A proactive and reactive approach to problem solving within the portfolio context.
  • Organizing and leading recurrent meetings (weekly, monthly, quarterly etc.) to review portfolio performance, as well as ad hoc discussions as needed.
  • Leading steering committee meetings to drive portfolio direction, provide updates, and address any issues or concerns.
  • Establishing portfolio tollgates and timelines to track progress effectively.
  • Developing and maintaining portfolio documentation, including overviews, communication plans, and performance metrics.
  • Proactively monitoring and tracking the portfolio's progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and resource allocations.
  • Facilitating effective communication and ensuring collaboration across teams and stakeholders to optimize portfolio outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Portfolio Management experience or relevant experience in managing a suite of projects or programs.
  • Technical knowledge and proficiency in portfolio management methodologies.
  • Technical knowledge and proficiency in project management methodologies is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities within a portfolio context.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, or MS Project.
