Role - Senior Manager - Project Management

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) team at Mercer | A Marsh Business. This role will be based in Noida. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

You will play a key role in supporting portfolio governance and other critical EPMO initiatives. Success in this global position requires a strong passion for portfolio, program, and project management, along with prior experience in these areas. You should be a dedicated professional with exceptional analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. You will collaborate with a team of dynamic colleagues and leaders who are committed to upholding Marsh's high standards. Your meticulous diligence and attention to detail will be essential to your success in this role.

We will count on you to

  • Support the annual portfolio planning process as well as key in-year portfolio management activities including change management and deep-dive on initiatives

  • Monitor and report on a portfolio of initiatives including reviewing monthly statuses and challenging information provided by the initiative to ensure accuracy and consistency

  • Support management, tracking and consolidation of data to enable EPMO to deliver the right information at the right time to stakeholders

  • Support the review of Business Cases to ensure completeness, clarity and consistency of the information provided

  • Collect and analyze portfolio data to provide guidance and assist with decision making

  • Work closely with Finance, Technology and Business Partners to ensure the smooth governance of the portfolio

  • Provide portfolio level reporting including high level views on status, themes and insights

  • Provide support in developing and refreshing EPMO governance materials including process documentation, guidelines and templates

  • Participate in reporting and analytical activities for key EPMO initiatives

  • Coordinate work to enhance the EPMO team site on SharePoint and ensure it remains up to date with the latest information, including EPMO governance materials

  • Support the resolution of key EPMO challenges as well as continuous EPMO improvements

What you need to have

  • 5 years of experience in PMO roles within the Financial Services industry or consulting organizations

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Technology or Finance

  • Excellent command of the English language

  • Project or program management certification such as PRINCE2, PMI, APM, or an equivalent

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels in an international setting

  • Proven ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and consistently deliver high-quality work through effective planning and prioritization

  • High level of diligence and attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize time effectively and demonstrate quick learning skills

What makes you stand out

  • Experience working within a Global EPMO team, preferably in a large, centralized and international organization

  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to develop macros using VBA

  • Proficient in utilizing project/program management and collaboration tools such as Planview and SharePoint

  • Skilled in Business Intelligence solutions with a particular focus on Power BI

  • Relevant portfolio management certification, such as MoP (Management of Portfolios)

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a demanding environment and adapt to rapidly changing priorities. 

  • Previous experience within the Marsh group, ideally with Mercer | A Marsh Business
