Summary: Responsible for production support, software development, and system maintenance within the insurance domain. Coordinates with teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality technical solutions, manages incidents and service requests, and optimizes SQL performance for insurance domain applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Act as a technical liaison between clients and offshore support/development teams. - Perform requirement analysis, impact assessment, and solution design for insurance domain applications. - Manage production incidents, service requests, and patch releases using tools like ServiceNow. - Develop and optimize SQL scripts, stored procedures, and functions for improved system performance. - Deliver end-to-end support for insurance products and related systems. - Coordinate release activities, database refreshes, and automation of support tasks. - Ensure adherence to SLAs, quality benchmarks, and compliance with ITIL processes. - Collaborate with business users and stakeholders for seamless delivery. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must Have Skills: Insurance domain knowledge (policy management and claims systems such as Subscribe). - Good To Have Skills: MS SQL Server, ServiceNow, API, Batch/Shell programming, troubleshooting large-scale insurance systems. - Tools: TFS, SVN, Visual Studio, Microsoft Office, BlackDuck. - Platforms: Windows XP/7/8/10. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Personal Insurance. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
