We are looking for Four (4) Assembly Helpers – 2nd and 3rd Shift to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location.

This position is a union position and will be assigned to one of three shifts.  Training for this position will happen during first/daylight shift.

Your Challenge:

·         Maintain cleanliness and FOD requirements for assembly areas.

·         Perform material and tooling moves; clean and deburr tooling or product; perform dye penetrant tests, facilitate assembly operations.

·         Assist assemblers in building product within the shop.

·         Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes.  Use hand tools, power hand tools, and measuring tools such as micrometers, radius and fillet gages.

·         Stack laminations and combine with other components to build stators or rotors as required.  This may involve the use of presses, clamps, fixtures, etc.

 

What you Bring:

·         High School graduate or its equivalent gained through training and/or experience.  Completion of four-year machine shop

·         Minimum of four years manufacturing/production/machining experience and related activities in the areas of processing and assembly manufacturing.

·         Must be sole US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance
