Job Description

  • Act as software and databases technical point of contact during 911 project implementation and support phases. 
  • Assures the correct implementation of the software solution, acting as a middle point between the customer and the software provider.
  • Translates customers requirements into technical specifications to be delivered to the provider and audits the implementation.
  • Responsible for generating and maintaining technical documentation based on the software solution.  Teamwork is highly needed to work with hardware IT engineers where the solutions will be on premise installed. 
  • During the support phase, creates and supervises guidelines to ensure a optimal operation of software and databases, being the focal point of scalations of SW and databases issues. If necessary will escalates issues to the provider. This position will be the main responsible of the software and databases, which will work under a mission critical environment. 
  • Technical Responsible for assurance of clean implementation and lifecycle in IT core related subsystems. Supports customer activations and responsible for configuration adjustments as required for management acceptance testing.
  • Applies IT knowledge to the project team, supporting or interfacing with project manager and customer technical counterparts and vendors IT experts.  Ensures configurations meet customer expectations as well as industry and product standards. Responsible for accurate back office system data record management. 
  • Responsible for the software and databases administration and configuration via thorough skill set including experience in mainly SO Windows Server, Linux, SQL Server, and others like PBXs and Networking. Knowledge developed in SAECAD /SISEP Platform. Knowledge in integrations: CTI , radio , integrated subsystems in SAEcad/SISEP. Knowledge in Cisco, firewalls, DDBB, Servers, WAN , LAN , PCs  platforms.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant IT experience in complex systems, are required for this position.
  • Able to communicate in english -oral and written
