What you'll do:

The position of Warehouse Lending Boarding Specialist is responsible for boarding all loans onto Warehouse Lending System/Street Resource Group. The Loan Boarding Specialist will work closely with Warehouse Operations Manager, the Processing team, Sales Officer and with bank personnel to ensure loans comply with state and federal laws, regulations, and bank lending policies and procedures. This position is also expected to promote business growth by delivering excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
  • Responsible for boarding new loans, loan renewals, and loan modifications, with a variety of structures, collateral, rates and terms onto Warehouse Lending System/Street Resource Group, ensuring quality, completeness and accuracy.
  • Responsible for processing file maintenance within the warehouse groups system.
  • Complete and submit boarded loan packages and file maintenance for callback review within department Service Level Standards.
  • Provide training to new customers on system and products offered by Warehouse Group that the customer was approved to fund.
  • Ensure all training material is accurately updated and reflecting most recent process flows. 
  • Primary training member of new system migration for 2025.  Will conduct training to all active and new Originators once the new system is up and running. 
  • Complete customization reporting needs for funding requests and deliverables for accounting needs.
  • Boarding Specialists must have strong communication and training skills as they are responsible to perform initial training to our customers on new services.
  • Boarding Specialist must carefully listen and work with the customer to understand the features they need of each product to be able to properly establish the new service in a way that fits the customers' company. They must also keep customer, Management and Sales informed throughout the onboarding process.
  • Manage the onboarding process for each customer, constantly reaching out to the customer to move them through the process and remove hurdles/road blocks that keeps a customer from completing the onboarding process.
  • Performs other duties, and participates in special projects, as assigned by management.

What you'll need:

  • High school diploma required
  • 5+ years of direct, related experience in Customer Service/Banking
  • Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Strong speaking & writing skills for internal & external audiences (ex: sales or leadership)
  • Work on your own, with limited support, to implement the services each customer needs.
