The Project Manager for Enrollment Marketing at the McCombs School of Business oversees the planning, execution, and operational effectiveness of enrollment marketing initiatives across the Marketing and Communications (CMCO) department. This role serves as the central hub for marketing project intake, prioritization, workflow design, and cross‑functional coordination, ensuring marketing work is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational strategy.
The Project Manager for Enrollment Marketing will report directly to the Enrollment Marketing Director and work closely with the Assistant Director, Sr. Marketing Operations Manager, internal stakeholders, and external partners ensuring the team can effectively support the McCombs graduate portfolio and Texas Executive Education.
Project Management
Manage, direct, and track assigned projects utilizing accepted project management methodologies. Develop project plans including project lifecycle, budget, resource requirements, change management processes, risk management, key milestones, communication mechanisms, test plans and deliverables using Asana and other tools, as needed.
Manage project implementation including emergent issues with emphasis on time schedule control to ensure all tasks are completed within established deadlines and budgets. Track and report on project progress with clients and colleagues.
Operate as the communication hub between stakeholders, internal teams, and vendors and freelancers to manage project information, timeline, scope-of-work, and cost estimates. Update timelines and information to ensure the team’s workflow, task list and communication areas are up-to-date and balanced across team resources.
Responsible for scoping, scheduling, and executing advertising campaigns, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's specifications.
Oversee the workflow of marketing plans and budgets, asset development, implementation, and tracking, as needed for each project.
Assign individual responsibilities, develop project timelines, and project schedules. Monitor and manage key project deadlines and ensure delivery of final product meets expectations.
Strategy and Planning
Participate in the creation of marketing strategies and help set performance goals for individual campaigns, both within the Enrollment Marketing team and in support of other marketing teams across the college.
People and Resource Management
Research and evaluate services and resources needed for marketing projects and digital advertising and manage the procurement of these services and resources by freelancers and other agency partners. Coordinate output and ensure all production projects are completed and delivered in adherence to time and cost estimates. Manage the student-employee recruitment and hiring process and supervise student employees on a day-to-day basis.
Marketing Technology
Support the Marketing Operations team and Marketing Managers with technical aspects and optimization of the marketing tech stack, as needed. Serve as a backup to Marketo administrator, operations coordinator, and marketing managers, as needed. Stay up to date with latest on Marketo releases and capabilities to drive marketing KPIs and ensure best practices in lead management and attribution, nurturing, and database management.
Performance Measurement, Reporting, and Data Analytics
Ensure creation of dashboards and reports across digital marketing analytics platforms and CRM. Track and report on success of marketing projects. Assist leadership in providing data driven, strategic recommendations about lead lifecycle and market conditions.
Governance and Training
Run day-to-day, quarterly and annual marketing calendars in Asana and other enrollment marketing platforms, as needed; lead quarterly reviews with various stakeholders and enrollment marketing team leadership. Create structured training processes, onboard new users to project management tools, develop and document roles and responsibilities for usage of shared platforms and tools. Serve as a point of contact for help for other marketing team members using marketing and advertising platforms managed by the CMCO Enrollment Marketing team.

3+ years of project management experience within a marketing team
3+ years of experience managing vendors, freelancers, and external teams
5+ years of experience administering Marketo or other Marketing Automation tools
10+ years of experience in marketing within higher education
Extensive experience in enrollment marketing
Experience with marketing automation and CRM integrations
Experience managing a content management system (CMS), such as WordPress, including developing and implementing content and managing integrations
Client-service oriented mentality
Experience collaborating with stakeholders at all levels
Experience developing business processes and implementing them in a higher education environment
Bachelor’s degree
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
5+ years of experience in marketing graduate and professional development programs at UT Austin
Extensive experience administering a marketing automation tool, such as Marketo or HubSpot, including implementing a new instance and leading the implementation process
Experience working with Salesforce or another CRM
Experience using Canva, or similar tool, to design marketing materials
3+ years of setting up and analyzing PPC and SEO/SEM performance
$80,000 - $86,000 depending on qualifications.
Works in standard office conditions, in a shared office environment, with repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
Some evening and weekend hours may be required during peak periods and special events.
This is an Austin, TX-based position and is eligible for hybrid work in Austin, Texas.
