The Business Sr. Lead Analyst is a strategic professional focusing on Wealth Risk Management from an Oversight Technology and Process perspective. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.
Responsibilities:
- The position requires a candidate with general management skills, leadership abilities and administrative experience, who can manage and lead a variety of activities geared at helping manage a global organization with resources and providing data & analytics solutions to all regions and lines of businesses. This includes building ties with other business teams. The individual will be a direct report to the Global Head of Oversight Technology and Process Risk while working closely with the senior Decision Management leadership in their planning, definition and execution of organizational strategy.
- Ability to review Risk Management Framework and policies and provide credible challenge
- Excellent organizational skills Governance skills and robust Project Management Skills e.g. reporting to senior management, assembling materials / packs to go to senior management
- Robust Business Analyst skills to independently lead workstreams / initiatives at the request of senior management
- The Business Sr. Lead Analyst will ensure that data is summarized from across the business to provide critical information to executive team
- Partner directly with various players across decision management groups, analyze data and evaluate multiple sources to develop recommendations on high-priority strategic initiatives, including the annual strategic plan
- Help to manage executable strategies, partnering across the organization
- Establish best practices and principles for the decision management organization globally
- Program/Project Management - Help provide oversight of the Business Critical Milestone Reporting process and various other executive / client / management reporting processes. Ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy throughout the reporting process.
- Communication - Work with the team and respective Decision Management leaders on the communication strategy (e.g. town halls, new hire events) for the department and facilitate the development of communication materials and presentations for senior management, including C-level management, the Board of Directors, Operating Committee and other key stakeholders as required
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- +5 years in Risk Management ideally within Wealth Risk Management
- 10+ years experience in global and complex settings with multiple stake holders
- 10+ years Business Analyst / PM skills - work experience in area related to analytics and/or strategy consulting
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
