The area of action will be Asturias, Cantabria, Galicia and a large part of Castilla y León and should preferably be living in the provinces of Asturias, León, Cantabria or Lugo.

Job Purpose

Prospecting, servicing and growing the assigned customer portfolio in the established geographic area, trying to drive sales and company objectives through the assigned channel.

Together with the Area Manager, you will set individual targets for your service area and set strategies to achieve them.

You will also be responsible for transmitting and promoting Aliaxis group policy, generating and developing initiatives, promoting the use of the tools provided (CRM, PBI...), fostering positive attitudes in your area, promoting and driving sales development in the customer portfolio.

Key Responsibility Area

  Be responsible for the budget allocated to drive sales in a specific area.

•          Manage all existing accounts, and prospect for new accounts.

•          Increase the number of customers in the region

•          Push cross sales with the rest of the SPS organisation and projects.

•          Collaborate with the Prescription department with medium and small engineering projects and offers.

•          Push the Aliaxis brand with all the portfolio.

Education: Bachelor

Working experience: 3 years sales experience or installations

Management experience: 3 years similar position

Driving License

Languages&Proficiency: English basic level

Competencies

 The role requires knowledge and business or work experience in construction or plumbing market work, as well as the ability to handle complex and detailed information and an understanding of key business objectives and drivers.

Candidates should be comfortable with ambiguity and change, and be enthusiastic about a role that will shape and deliver new tools and ways of working.

Required skills

  • Exceptional commercial and technical skills, combined with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in a B2B manufacturing organisation
  • Strong business skills and knowledge of sales, marketing and commercial channels.
  • Balance between determination and perseverance and empathy: able to engage and align local commitment with local needs.
  • Strong initiative, leadership and influencing skills: ability to facilitate change.
  • Experience as an ERP user (preferably SAP).
  • Fluency in Spanish. English B1

  • Interacts with many people directly and indirectly related with customers.

Working Conditions

  • Most of the time working on visits and in continuous contact with their customers, on the road during client calls and on business trips.
  • The employee will often attend corporate business meetings (designated areas possibly outside his/her area of operation) or external offices (hotels, convention centres, etc.).
  • Employee will be exposed to travel (driving or public transport) for a significant number of hours per week.
  • The employee may occasionally be exposed to moderate physical activity (preparing a stand for a trade fair or transporting product samples for a customer visit).

Travel

  • Employee will be required to domestic (Spain & Portugal) travel 60% of the time
  • Employee may need to regularly visit other locations for internal and meetings
