The Opportunity
This role will support the Building Construction Products organization, specifically the Europe/Africa/Middle East Industry team and will provide analysis and recommendations for strategic pricing decisions to maximize growth. This role will focus on key merchandising strategies and will work closely with industry and commercial managers, as well as product pricing. Seeking candidate with excellent communication skills and the ability to think strategically.
What You Will Do:
As Senior Pricing Consultant, your accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:
Analyses, interprets and communicates a wide variety of data (economic and competitive environment, revenue and profitability, and historical forecasted sales, prices, discounts and price realization) to draw business insights and recommend actions to maximize sales and profitability
Develops advanced strategic pricing recommendations for new and existing products and services to drive value-based pricing
Provides thought leadership to key stakeholders in the development of pricing strategies for new and existing products and services
Executes strategic and tactical price action within a robust pricing governance framework to implement future price changes
Ensures merchandising practices are in compliance with all Global Machine Pricing policies, procedures, and guidelines

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

Contract: Permanent
Salary: £59,950 - £80,000 depending on experience
Benefits: 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays - opportunity to buy and sell, Car Allowance £600pm, 18% Bonus, Private Medical, Contributory pension scheme - Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution Up to 10%, Contributory share scheme - Caterpillar will match 50% of the employee's contribution, optional flexible benefits including access to vision and dental care plans.
Location: Desford, Leicestershire. Requirement is average of 3 days in the Caterpillar office with the option to work remotely for the remaining days
Travel: up to 10%
