Roles & responsibilities:

The Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of IBS/MBS (internet Banking Service/ Mobile Banking), ensuring they meet the needs of the business and are delivered in a cost-effective manner. This role involves managing service operations, ensuring service continuity, and maintaining the health and performance of IT services under the following roles:

• System Enhancements
• Development tasks
• Automation
• Observability

• RunOps/Tech Updates for Leadership Team (LT)
• Pack Creation: Develop and maintain technical update packs for leadership.
• Monthly Meetings: Attend monthly meetings to provide leadership updates on tech health.
• Tech Health Interlock
• Priority Planning: Collaborate with Tech Leads and Delivery Leads (DLs) to prioritize planning for tech health.

• Incident Management
• In Progress: Manage ongoing incidents to ensure timely resolution.
• Trending: Analyse incident trends to identify and address recurring issues.

• Problem Management Tickets
• Business As Usual (BAU): Handle problem management tickets as part of regular operations.
• IBS Certificate Management
• BAU: Oversee the management of IBS certificates as part of routine operations.

• System Health Management
• Upcoming Upgrades: Plan and manage upcoming system upgrades (e.g., NetCore 8, Angular 19).
• Jira Tech Health Canvases for DAO: Maintain Jira tech health canvases for DAO.
• Service Continuity Testing
• Regulatory Requirements: Conduct service continuity testing to meet regulatory requirements.
• Cyber / PenTesting
• Vulnerability Management: Manage vulnerabilities and coordinate annual penetration tests.
• Vulnerability Assignment Guide: Develop and maintain a guide for vulnerability assignment.
• Cyber Standards: Ensure compliance with cyber standards.

• IBS/MBS Resourcing & Recruitment
• Direct Reports: Manage direct reports and their performance.
• Supplier Engagements: Engage with suppliers for resource management.
• IBS/MBS Support Rosters
• Daytime Support: Oversee daytime support operations.
• 24/7 On-Call Support: Manage 24/7 on-call support for IBS & MBS.

• Contract Management / SRGs
• BAU: Handle contract management and SRGs as part of regular operations.
• Risk Management
• Issues: Identify and address issues related to service delivery.
• Action Items: Track and manage action items to mitigate risks.
• Controls: Implement and maintain controls to ensure tech health.

• Compliance Attestations and Declarations

             Perform attestations/declarations for:

• TCF Compliance
• CMDB Data Certification
• CPS230 Compliance
• Data Encryption Compliance

Required Experience:

• 12+ years of experience in relevant field.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C#, and .NET technologies.
• Strong understanding of ITIL principles and practices.
• Experience with Jira and other project management tools.
• Familiarity with Angular and .Net Core technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Android – Java, Kotlin
• iOS Objective-C, Swift
• REST and API Development

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
