Global BI Report Developer

The Global BI Report Developer will be a part of the Business Intelligence Team, working with Data Engineering, Infrastructure, Business Analytics and global business and IT teams in the design, development, and maintenance of the company’s global Business Intelligence reporting tools and reports. They will help facilitate the company’s main supply of information, empowering business users to deliver key analytic solutions on a global scale. They will be designing and managing delivery of high impact reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. This position will be a critical member of the Business Intelligence team. Preference will be given to those residing in GA and able to work a hybrid schedule in our ATL location.

Essentials Functions:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that provide insightful and actionable business intelligence.
• Build highly engaging and user-friendly Power BI reports and dashboards with advanced visualizations and dynamic functionalities.
• Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reporting tools, reports, or dashboards
• Implement DAX expressions to perform complex calculations and data transformations within Power BI.
• Represent the Business Intelligence team for various projects and working groups.
• Provide subject matter expertise in support of report’s technical activities
• Define and own Business Intelligence projects for global reporting initiatives
• Manage delivery of high impact dashboards and data visualizations
• Maintain a high level of understanding of interdepartmental workflow and processes
• Support existing processes running in production
• Collaborate with business and tech teams to implement best practices in reporting and analytics: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
• Help continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service analytics
• Ability to work independently, with team members, and cross-functionally in a dynamic work environment
• Willingness to learn and understand Interface's commitment to sustainability
• Continuously increase knowledge of Business Intelligence applications and tools
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Ensure data security, accuracy, and consistency throughout the reporting process.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience with developing and modeling data utilizing data sources, e.g. SQL Server, SSRS, Salesforce, Excel, ReportsNow, Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
• Expert level in Power BI Desktop in creating complex reports, dashboards, visualizations, using advanced DAX functions
• Skills in optimizing Power BI solutions for performance, report rendering, query optimization, and data refresh strategies
• 5+ years of Excel experience cleaning/manipulating data, formatting, pivot tables, advanced formulas/functions
• Expertise in building paginated reports using SSRS or Power BI Report Builder, setting up data sources, utilizing parameterization and formatting for printing
• Knowledge of data modeling principles and best practices such as star schemas
• Strong understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases
• Experience working on cross-functional teams and projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders
• Ability to adapt quickly and learn new Business Intelligence tools like ReportsNow, Salesforce, Qlik, Power BI, etc. and develop reports and dashboards within these environments
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance or work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,  Data Science, Business Analytics or a related curriculum
