We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Analyst I to join our team in India. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth procurement operations, timely processing of purchase orders, and maintaining compliance across procurement activities. Reporting to the Procurement Manager in the US, the ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing transactional execution with process improvements, stakeholder communication, and vendor relationship management.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the Procurement mailbox, ensuring SLA adherence (24-hour response time)
• Process purchase order submissions in Zip, ensuring documentation accuracy and initial approval
• Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery, resolving discrepancies or delays.
• Expedite urgent orders and support business continuity
• Ensure all purchasing activities are compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Identify and track cost reduction opportunities, log savings in Zip
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to support business needs
• Liaise professionally with suppliers to build and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Infosec teams
• Manage change orders and virtual card creation
• Support invoice matching and resolution of payment issues
• Own contract renewal notifications and initiate outreach for timely actions
• Maintain and update training documentation quarterly
• Own termination/new hire list management weekly to ensure Zip records remain accurate
• All other duties as defined by Procurement leadership

Qualifications & skills:

• Minimum of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent
• 4–6 years of experience in procurement, supply chain operations, or vendor management
• Excellent written and verbal customer service skills in English language
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities
• Experience with procurement platforms such as Zip, Coupa, Ariba, SAP, or Oracle highly desired
• Strong knowledge of procurement workflows, PO management, and vendor lifecycle
• Familiarity with finance processes including invoice matching, payment terms, and budgeting
• Experience working with Legal/Compliance on contract or policy-related items
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration tools (Slack, Teams)
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and handle urgent requests in a fast-paced environment
• Analytical mindset with ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
