Trimble Social Data Solutions is looking for a B to B Technical Sales Account Manager for its Solid entity in the France-Nord region. Within the Social Data Solution Business Unit of the Trimble Transportation group, Solid is a software editor dedicated to the transport market. We target all companies with vehicles over 3.5T. Among other things, our management solutions archive legal data from tachographs, and automate the calculation of infringements and wages (including expenses and other times) for truck and bus drivers. The tools help the transport companies to supervise their business, with easy-to-use dashboards, reports and graphs, and offers a guarantee of compliance with European and local social regulations.

What You Will Do

You will be reporting to the Trimble Social Data Solutions Director, as part of the Solid sales team, your missions (non-limiting) are as follows: 

  • Manage the commercial relationship with our customers in the Nord-Haute Normandie region 
  • Develop the customer portfolio by prospecting transport and service companies, combining a targeted and proactive approach to increase the number of accounts choosing our solutions 
  • Develop cross-sales opportunities with Trimble Transportation teams and the regional ecosystem in general 
  • Help new customers to get started with Trimble Social Data Solutions: user training, configuration assistance, etc. 
  • Rapidly become the preferred contact for customers in the sector, through in-depth product knowledge and quality advice on the use of our solutions. Manage complaints and malfunctions. 
  • Define the annual sales plan for a target group consisting mainly of small and medium-sized transport companies in this geographical area. 
  • Constantly seek the best "cost of sales" according to the business or account, with a view to achieving agreed sales targets, thanks to effective management of personal time and productivity. 
  • Respond to sales requests and ensure follow-up and reporting using appropriate methods and tools. 
  • Assess and report internally on customer needs and requests - Conduct sales negotiations and ensure compliance with the rules of our organization.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Education: Commercial, Technical or Industrial (BAC + 2 minimum) 
  • At least one successful sales experience, ideally with a B2B software publisher 
  • Knowledge of the freight transport industry and/or payroll sectors 
  • Profile of a "hunter" motivated by results and winning new customers 
  • Technical aptitude, comfortable in handling IT and web tools, pedagogical skills 
  • Fluent French language skills are a must
  • Good English language skills.

Au sein de la Business Unit Social Data Solution du groupe Trimble Transport & Logistics, la société Solid édite et commercialise des logiciels dédiés au monde du transport. Nous nous adressons à toutes les entreprises ayant des véhicules de plus de 3,5T. Nos solutions de gestion permettent entre autres d’archiver les données légales des chronotachygraphes, d’automatiser le calcul des infractions et de la prépaie (incluant les frais et autres temps) des conducteurs poids lourds. Elles offrent les outils de pilotage de l’activité par des tableaux de bord, des rapports et graphiques simples d’utilisation et la garantie du respect de la réglementation sociale en vigueur.

Poste

  • Rattaché au Directeur Trimble Social Data Solutions, au sein de l’équipe commerciale Solid, vos missions (non limitatives) sont les suivantes :

  • Gérer la relation commerciale avec notre clientèle Grands Comptes France, augmenter les revenus récurrents du portefeuille actuel et prospecter de nouvelles cibles

  • Animer le réseau de distributeurs en France (6 principaux partenaires), assurer leur formation à nos services et les accompagner dans le développement de l’activité

  • Développer des opportunités croisées avec les équipes télématiques de Trimble Transport & Logistics 

  • Représenter la société dans des salons nationaux et régionaux et plus généralement développer la visibilité de Solid et Trimble au sein de l’écosystème français

  • Développer une expertise marché par une bonne connaissance des produits, de la réglementation en vigueur et des besoins émergeant

  • Accompagner nos nouveaux clients dans la mise en route des solutions proposées par Trimble Social Data Solutions : formation des utilisateurs, mise en route de la solution

  • Participer aux projets de migration des clients grands comptes et clients indirects vers la dernière génération de nos services

  • Définir le plan commercial annuel en fonction des objectifs fixés et participer aux réflexions sur les tarifs

  • Rechercher constamment le meilleur "cost of sales " selon l'affaire ou le compte en vue d'atteindre les objectifs commerciaux convenus, grâce à une bonne gestion du temps personnel et de la productivité

  • Traiter les demandes commerciales et en assurer le suivi, le reporting avec les méthodes et outils adéquates

  • Détecter les projets et mener l’analyse des besoins

  • Conduire les négociations commerciales et faire respecter les règles de l’organisation et les accords commerciaux en place

Profil

  • Formation : Commerciale, Technique ou Industrielle (BAC + 3 minimum)

  • Au moins 5 ans d’expérience commerciale réussie, idéalement chez un éditeur de logiciel en B2B

  • Connaissance du monde du Transport de marchandises et/ou du secteur de la paie

  • Excellent sens de l’organisation, de la coordination et de la communication client

  • Appétence technique, aisance dans la manipulation des outils informatiques et web, pédagogie

  • La connaissance de l’Anglais
