Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to all current and prospective Corient clients by establishing and maintaining genuine, personalized relationships.
  • Supervise new client onboarding; prepare and process all documentation related to onboarding, implementation, maintenance and retention; input client data into the CRM and ensure information is accurate and up to date at all times; manage money movement.
  • Maximize client satisfaction by working proactively to identify potential questions and, or problems ahead of time.
  • Provide outstanding administrative, operational and sales support to multiple Wealth Advisors.
  • Build and maintain client portals (eMoney) and communicate information to clients; provide clients with first-rate online Fidelity training.
  • Support Wealth Advisors - Answer client calls; schedule and calendar meetings; coordinate travel arrangements; prepare agendas, reports and spreadsheets, coordinate client birthday cards, flowers and / or gifts.
  • Train and mentor newly hired Client Service Associates.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.

Responsible for the client onboarding at Corient:

  • Gathers needed trust & entity documents
  • Facilitates the account opening process at Fidelity including Wealth Management Agreements
  • Sets up margin/line of credit (options permissioning if needed)
  • Setup online bill payments

Client point-of-contact for administrative/operational matters

  • Facilitates wire transfers & journals
  • Coordinates checking accounts / credit cards
  • Submit grant recommendations from Fidelity DAF’s
  • Gather and send tax documents (1099’s/K-1’s)
  • Fill out subscription docs for SMA managers & alternative investments

Provide high-value services for Family Office & Premier Wealth Management Clients

  • Concierge Services (Coordinating Flights, Rental Car, TV, Internet, etc.)
  • Send details of credit card transactions for review monthly
  • Handle client bill pay

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years of client service experience in financial services industry required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products required
  • Provide exceptional client service in written and verbal communications.
  • Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to juggle many projects at once (prioritizing).
  • Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Act as a team player and provide coverage for other Client Service team members while on FTA/PTO.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Unimpeachable integrity.

Pay Information

This position is exempt and is paid according to the laws of the State of California. The pay range for this position is $85,000-$105,000 USD per year. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Corient seeks to make reasonable accommodations that enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties when possible.

  • This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

  • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

U.S. Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Corient hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Corient will require proof of work authorization.

  • Corient participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S. If E-Verify cannot confirm that you are authorized to work, this employer is required to give you written instructions and an opportunity to contact Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Social Security Administration (SSA) so you can begin to resolve the issue before the employer can take any action against you, including terminating your employment.
