Role purpose
This role plays a pivotal role in driving and delivering the full scope of Vicinity’s investor relations strategy and annual program of deliverables.
The role is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day investor relations deliverables, including program managing and drafting of Vicinity’s market facing materials, responding to analyst and investor enquiries, managing Vicinity’s verification process, maintaining the consensus model, sharing market sentiment and feedback internally as well as contributing to the preparation of all externally facing documents.
Key Accountabilities
Investor Relations
- Assist in the program management and production of all equity market disclosures, including ASX announcements, results, annual reports and investor presentations, Q+As, speaker notes, semi-annual property book
- Actively participate in analyst and investor meetings, taking notes and where relevant raising key themes and items of note with CEO / CFO and other relevant Executives
- Build strong working relationships with equity research analysts and investors, ensuring queries are responded to in a timely, informed and consistent manner
- Build partnerships with internal stakeholders to enable the team to have access to insights and information that informs all external market communications
- Oversee and support the maintenance of Vicinity’s consensus model, identifying material divergences, seeking insights from the Financial Planning & Analysis team and provide advice on approach to address divergences with relevant analysts
- Manage the verification of all externally announcements, working with relevant teams to ensure the integrity and rigour of the process
- Prepare market feedback and roadshow meeting notes summaries
- Contribute to the preparation of internal reporting, including the monthly shareholder register analysis and board reports
Investor Relations & Corporate Communications
- Support the team with the development and implement communication strategies that align with stakeholder / customer goals and objectives, from centre-specific needs to enterprise-wide matters
- Work with Corporate Access & Communications Manager and Corporate Communications Manager to ensure all teams and functions are supported with the preparation of ad-hoc external and periodical communications, including Capability Statements, Sustainability-related reporting, Leasing presentations, Insurance, CoSec, and Treasury-related communications e.g., debt investor presentation
- With a can-do and hands-on mindset that ensures the delivery of whole-of-team deliverables, actively contribute to “idea and content creation” across the full gamut of the Investor Relations and Corporate Communications deliverables
- Consistently consider and share ideas on all aspects of Investor Relations & Corporate Communications to consistently raise the bar on team performance

Experience & Capabilities
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE (what you have done)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance, communications or related fields, ideally gained in listed property sector
- Experience communicating strategic, financial and operational concepts clearly, compellingly and consistently
- Had exposure to and/or working knowledge of investor relations, and capital markets
CAPABILITIES (what you can do)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to read and translate complex financial and operational metrics and strong understanding of Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Cashflow Statements
- Ability to distil complex strategic and financial metrics / outcomes into narrative that consistently links execution & performance to strategy is imperative
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Relentlessly focused on attention to detail and quality control
- Strong thought leadership skills and ability to influence at all levels
