Job Details

The Klein Family Parkinson’s Rehabilitation Center at MossRehab, in conjunction with the Cognitive-Motor Learning Laboratory at the Moss Rehabilitation Research Institute (MRRI) located in Elkins Park, PA, has an opening for a Postdoctoral Fellow starting in Fall 2026. Under the direction of Aaron Wong, Ph.D., the postdoctoral fellow will investigate the impact of Parkinson’s Disease and the role of the basal ganglia on behavior. Research will involve analysis of movement responses and/or decisions in neurotypicals and individuals with Parkinson’s disease. More broadly, this work seeks to understand how impairments of the basal ganglia impact habit formation and effort-based decision making, and the fellow will be encouraged to explore these larger themes in establishing an independent line of work. MRRI is internationally known for its research in neuroscience and neurorehabilitation, and maintains a strong postdoctoral training program. This is an approximately 2 year position, and offers competitive salary and benefits.

Job Description

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. or anticipate a Ph.D. by Summer 2026 in the area of Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, Psychology, Kinesiology, or a closely related discipline.
