We are searching for the best talent for Manufacturing Process Operation Support Specialist to be based in Beerse.

The Device Assembly & Parenteral Packaging (DAPP) department in Innovative Medicines Supply Chain Beerse is growing fast to support new product launches and higher volumes. In this role you will support the operational team by building process expertise, leading quality investigations, and helping implement corrective actions and continuous improvements that keep our packaging operations reliable and compliant — all to help deliver safe products to patients!

You will join a collaborative team working closely with Maintenance, Quality, Safety, MSAT and executing systems. Fluent Dutch and English are required to operate effectively across these functional groups.

As a Manufacturing Process Operation Support Specialist, you will:

  • Ensure daily operations run smoothly by keeping system configurations and procedures current, reducing downtime and errors.
  • Lead investigations into incidents and discrepancies with Quality Assurance, driving corrective actions that prevent recurrence and protect product quality.
  • Identify and implement improvements across safety, quality, compliance, costs, competencies, and customer service to increase operational performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (MSAT, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, executing systems) to support product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain GMP and relevant regulatory compliance in processes, ensuring consistent, auditable manufacturing practices.
  • Support change control, clear documentation, and training for new and existing processes to embed sustainable improvements.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Science, Technology or Engineering) required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience working in a GMP environment and applying Good Documentation Practices.
  • Proficient written and spoken Dutch and English; comfortable using Microsoft applications for daily tasks.
  • Experience contributing to work instructions and creating batch records (PI sheets) with attention to transparency and completeness.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator who can work effectively with Quality, MSAT, Engineering, and technical teams; skilled in logical root-cause approaches (RATIO, 5 WHY, Fishbone).
  • Technical curiosity and practical insight into production systems and equipment; knowledge of SAP, TruVault, or Comet is a plus, along with a commitment to continuous improvement (lean) and flexibility with changing priorities.

At Johnson & Johnson, we want every candidate to feel supported throughout the hiring process. Our goal is to make the experience clear, fair, and respectful of your time.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Application review: We’ll carefully review your CV to see how your skills and experience align with the role.
  • Getting to know you: If there’s a good match, you’ll be invited to a short call with one of our recruitment team to understand more about you and answer any questions that you might have.
  • Staying informed: We know waiting can be hard and processes can evolve; our recruitment team will keep you updated and make sure you know what to expect at each step.
  • Final steps: For successful candidates, you will need to complete country-specific checks before starting your new role. We will help guide you through these.

Finally, at the end of the process, we’ll invite you to share feedback in a short survey — your input helps us continue improving the experience for future candidates. Thank you for considering a career with Johnson & Johnson. We’re excited to learn more about you and wish you the best of luck in the process! #RPOEMEA #LI_Onsite
