Finance Analyst II / Senior

Summary:

We are currently looking for a responsible and dynamic individual to be part of our APAC regional FP&A team based in Kuala Lumpur

Essential job functions include but are not limited to:

  • Processing monthly project revenue and cost including various planning exercises such as forecasting, budgeting, profitability analysis and reporting
  • Interact with Senior Managers, including Project Directors, Project Managers, Customer Delivery Executives and other related stakeholders when reviewing monthly project financials
  • Perform monthly Oracle Projects module closing process and prepare monthly reconciliation to the General Ledger including variance analysis
  • Interact with other accounting and finance personnel (various ledger owners) in other CSG companies to ensure all error rectification is done on a timely manner 
  • Review and analysis of monthly project costs and cost accruals
  • Comply with internal controls and support the team in internal and external audit
  • Support the team in the quarter end reporting requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 -5 years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Financial analysis and forecasting skills
  • Intermediate level of use with MS Excel
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data
  • Strong time management and organisation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently

Desirable:  

  • Oracle Financials- advantageous
  • IT industry- advantageous
  • TM1 - advantageous

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting or equivalent education/experience.
