Position Summary

This program is a 10-week full-time opportunity that provides real work experience with a team in your business area.  You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. Our Corporate Interns can apply for future full-time roles during the program and have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a post-graduation role. 

The Summer 2025 program will run June 2nd - August 8th, 2025.  Virtual onboarding activities will also take place May 28th -30th, 2025.

This is an in-person position at a CVS Distribution Center in: Lumberton, NJ; Orlando, FL; and Indianapolis Indiana. For this role, a one-time stipend may be provided to those that live more than 50 miles from the assigned work location.

The hourly rate is $23 per hour with 40 hours/ week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave. Please disregard the range listed.

At CVS Health, our supply chain goals are to provide outstanding service to our customers – while meeting their healthcare needs and making their overall shopping experience as easy as possible.  Operating an efficient and effective supply chain is key to achieving this goal so that we provide our customers and patients with a superior shopping experience at our stores.  This position will work within the operational excellence organization focused on improving the operations at our distribution’s centers.  The team is founded in engineering principles but act as problem solvers for the site to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost for the business.

-  Drive an initiative that demonstrates decision-making, communication, engineering principles, and technical skills

-  Key responsibilities include analyzing data, problem solving, project managing and executing tasks, and collaborating with various internal partners

-  Assist with work streams on new processes, opportunities, and initiatives that delivery improvements to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

-  Learn fundamentals around lean manufacturing and DC operations

Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

- Demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- An interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation
 

Education

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree

- Have an anticipated graduation date between September 2025 and August 2026
