THE TEAM

Ticketmaster Sport Tournaments division provides ticketing services to an increasing number of international sporting tournaments and events. Our services have been employed to provide ticketing solutions for prestigious tournaments such as Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, Rugby League World Cup 2021, 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships and AFC Asian Cup 2023.  

Ticketmaster Sport has recently secured World Rugby as a client and will be providing ticketing services for the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 being held at venues across England. As part of our project delivery team for this event we are recruiting a dedicated Tournament Account Manager role.

THE JOB

As a Tournament Account Manager you will work with the Tournament Implementation Manager, utilising the ticketing system to complete all system administration tasks necessary to deliver the project successfully, within budget and to the client’s satisfaction.

Based alongside the organising committee in London you will be responsible for ensuring the system is correctly setup for each phase of the project. You will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure you have accurate information to incorporate in to the ticketing system.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Gather information from internal and external stakeholders to be able to prepare the ticketing system for each phase of the project.
  • Utilise the ticketing system to carry out a variety of tasks, including but not limited too
    • Inputting sessions and pricing details.
    • Building out venue seating plans.
    • Managing account information and ticket entitlements.
    • Processing ticket requests/orders for key stakeholders.
    • Preparing the system for ticket distribution.
    • Producing and distributing system reports.
    • Updating the ticketing site content and FAQ’s
    • Inventory management.

  • Assist with seating and wayfinding audits at the host venues.
  • Track and process the payments of key stakeholders.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Setup and manage the ticket resale process. E.G. authorising ticket postings and initiating refund payments.
  • Attend and lead meetings pertaining to project tasks you are assigned, feeding back the outcomes in to the project management tools.   
  • Assist with testing of new system functionality.
  • Support with tournament time operations.
  • Any other tasks as defined by the Ticketmaster Sport – Tournaments Management Team.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

  • Skilled in the technical and operational construct of ticketing systems including understanding the technical requirements to enable the sale of tickets through multiple sales channels Knowledge of the Ticketmaster Sport XT platform is advantageous.
  • 2 years+ experience of ticketing operations essential.
  • Skilled in the use of ticket management platforms.
  • Experience in leading productive team meetings.
  • Awareness of project management methodologies is advantageous.
  • English language.
