Product Manager, FindLaw

Product Managers are responsible for helping develop and manage FindLaw digital advertising and directory products, services and related initiatives that help law firms grow their practice and drive sustainable growth and revenue for the FindLaw business.  In this role, you'll work closely with design, engineering, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to bring our products and their key features to life – often serving as the customer voice, defining requirements, and prioritizing trade-offs within a team. 

About The Role:

As a Product Manager you will: 

  • Develop strong product intuition by interpreting and assessing customer problems, business needs, market opportunities and competitive assets to develop products and solutions with a moderate level of guidance and direction.
  • Build market leading capabilities and products by creating a vision for product and maintaining the product roadmap and partnering closely Tech, Analytics and Operations teams to execute the roadmap and deliver efficiently. This includes serving as the customer voice for the engineering teams, prioritizing the product backlog based on customer and business value, and using metrics to monitor and measure progress.
  • Work closely with fulfillment and customer facing teams responsible for selling, supporting and delivering the products for law firm customers to collect feedback, identify opportunities for product and operational improvement.
  • Demonstrate leadership by taking ownership for a products, features and initiatives assigned to you, their performance and reliability, and delighting our clients with a positive experience. You will show that you can learn from your experiences, recover from setbacks, and effectively evangelize the product vision to colleagues.

About You:

You’re a fit for the role of Product Manager if your background includes: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or Related Field.
  • 3+ years of product management experience, specifically in digital marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience in, and understanding of, digital marketing and the metrics and economics surrounding it, with an emphasis on advertising, ad networks, and ad marketplaces.
  • A strong knowledge of digital advertising and analytics platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc., and the metrics and measures they report.
  • Proven track record of using data to drive digital marketing decisions for customers and products you have managed.
  • Excellent oral, written, and visual communication skills, especially in distilling information into digestible bites, telling stories with data, and translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in serving and addressing the needs of our core market of law firms (or other similar professional services firms) with digital marketing products and services is a significant plus.
