Position Summary

INSPIRE, the Innovative Network on the Science and Practice of Implementation, Research, and Engagement Center, at Washington University is a hub for advancing HIV implementation science research for adolescents and young adults (AYA) in low- to middle-income countries (LMICs). Supporting the Prevention and Treatment through a Comprehensive Care Continuum for HIV-affected Adolescents in Resource-Constrained Settings Implementation Science Network (PATC3H-IN), INSPIRE delivers cutting-edge training on adapting, scaling, and sustaining evidence-based practices, provides advanced methods for integrating diverse insights, and fosters meaningful community engagement.

INSPIRE seeks an enthusiastic Project Manager to support its mission of advancing HIV implementation science for adolescents and young adults (AYA) in low- to middle-income countries (LMICs). As a key member of our team, this role will involve international travel, facilitating INSPIRE’s global research partnerships. This position will manage projects across INSPIRE’s three cores: Capacity Supporting Core (CSC), Advanced Methods and Modeling Core (AAMC), and Community Engagement and Dissemination Core (CEDC), supporting effective coordination, collaboration, and community engagement within the network.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manages research, core projects, and training and/or dissemination of programs. Leads research projects and manages staff performing all project components.
  • Provides technical and managerial expertise associated with the implementation of studies and projects.
  • May participate in the development of research grants and contracts.
  • Provides oversight for accounting functions and financial oversight of project budgets and all expenditures. Provides support to the school’s grants in support of the center work.
  • May supervise staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$58,400.00 - $99,700.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
