The Office of Physician Recruitment is looking for a skilled Provider Recruiter to become part of the Advanced Practice Recruitment team. This team is responsible for recruiting Physician Assistants and Advanced Practice Nurses for our facilities in Ohio and Florida. The primary focus will be on advanced practice recruitment, with opportunities to engage in physician recruitment as well. We utilize a hybrid work model, enabling a combination of remote work and onsite presence at our locations in Southeast Florida. 


The Recruiter in this role will concentrate on recruiting advanced practice providers for various specialties in both Ohio and Florida, with a particular focus on Florida. The recruiter will be required to visit Florida locations as needed for onsite interviews, meetings, and to assist the Florida physician recruitment team. Furthermore, the recruiter will represent Cleveland Clinic at numerous conferences throughout the year, mainly at the state level, which may necessitate travel and overnight accommodation. 
 

A caregiver in this position works the day shift from 8:00AM – 5:00PM.  
 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:   

  • Source candidates, secure CV of physician candidates and disseminate to appropriate individuals for initial telephone interviews.  

  • Maintain CV in a database file and assist in creating copies for direct mailers, advertisements and brochures.  

  • Develop contacts with various companies capable of providing target mailing lists.  

  • Assist in developing ongoing protocols for contacting various physician residency and fellowship programs.  

  • Arrange for placement of notices that specify current staff physician needs.  

  • Arrange, coordinate and participate in candidate site visits.  

  • Follow-up with candidates after their site visit to determine their continued level of interest. 

  • Manage a database of staff physician contacts, create and update candidate filed and maintain recruitment logs.  


Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, a science specialization field or a related field.  

  • Valid driver’s license (VDL).  

  • 3 years of related recruitment experience. 5 additional years of experience may substitute the bachelor’s degree requirement.  


Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:   

  • Residence on the Treasure Coast (Martin, St. Lucie, or Indian River counties). 

  • Prior recruitment experience in high-touch areas. 

  • Skills/qualities: proactive, accountable, self-driven, organized, communication skills
