Your New Role

The Administrator, Legal Services is an entry-level role that will provide essential support to the legal department by managing administrative tasks, ensuring efficient operations, and assisting legal professionals in their duties. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of legal processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages day-to-day administrative tasks in support of the Manager, Legal Services and Chief Legal Officer.

  • Responsible for greeting and directing visitors, arranging security passes, messenger services, ordering supplies for the department, scanning, filing and archiving. 

  • Assists with travel arrangements and submitting expense reports.  Processes department invoices and handles all required follow-up.

  • Works with others in the department to help manage workflow and meet departmental objectives.

  • Manages logistics and administration for significant project and operational initiatives e.g. department-wide events, training and communications.

  • Performs other administrative duties as assigned to support the legal department.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, business administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in an administrative or similar role preferred. Applicants with relevant internship experience will be considered.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF and Outlook required.

  • Must have ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals on all levels (in person, by email & by telephone).

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be organized and have the ability to set up and maintain files and create procedures as needed.

  • Must have basic math, spelling and grammar skills. Must have knowledge of report and letter formats.

  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced, high-volume, high-pressure environment.

  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.

  • Must have the ability to take own initiative, work independently, and demonstrate resourcefulness, as well as working as part of a team.

  • Must be able to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.

  • Must be able to organize, prioritize and schedule work effectively.

  • Must be able to work well under time constraints, handle tasks simultaneously and meet all pre-stated deadlines.

  • Must be efficient, punctual and possess high level of integrity.

  • Must be flexible, professional, and dependable, a team player, and have a positive working attitude.

  • Must be committed to quality service and client satisfaction (customer service oriented).

  • Expected to work onsite approximately 4 days a week.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $47,466.00 - $88,150.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
