This position has responsibility over Air and NDC functionality and integration with our 3rd party OBT partners, focusing on, but not limited to, EMEA and Amadeus GDS.  It will have accountability for our online product roadmap, functionality, and UX/UI and  third party relationship management.  Role will also act as needed as Subject Matter Expert on the above areas in service to communication to the field, RFP-support to the internal customers and support for external client meetings.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze, and define specifications to meet GBT and customer requirements
  • Meet with vendors to discuss and prioritize requirements, strategic and business needs
  • Define the integration of new products/functionality into Amex GBT end-to-end processes including mid- and back-office systems, customer support, automated fulfillment, deployment, profile management, reporting and billing
  • Test new functionality, taking into account specifications and end-to-end processes
  • Work to maximize profitability through the development and introduction of automated, efficient or innovative functionality and processes
  • Increase customer satisfaction with the booking tool in key market segments
  • Act as SME to update communication materials and reference documents for the functionality and markets for which he/she is responsible. (adaptations / translations if appropriate
  • Identify, define, negotiate terms and manage ongoing relationships with the technology partners
  • Work/negotiate with internal partners, including Sales and Relationship, GSS, GCG, SDN, ...
  • Act as subject matter expert for Amex GBT Select sales and client management with regards to online booking development, integration, functionality, etc.
  • Streamline the communication from the team to the field and to our external customers,
