Job Description
The Summer Associate position at Greenhill offers qualified individuals exposure to all aspects of our global Restructuring and Financing Advisory business. Summer Associates assume significant responsibilities, including preparing and delivering presentations on restructuring and financing matters, participating in client meetings and calls, performing valuation, debt capacity, liquidity and other restructuring analyses, analyzing business plans and participating in due diligence, designing restructuring strategies, conducting research, developing strategic reviews and evaluating distressed M&A opportunities. Due to the size of the Firm, the Summer Associate position at Greenhill provides a unique opportunity to work closely with clients and experienced senior professionals.

Requirements
Qualified candidates for a Summer Associate position at Greenhill must exhibit a strong history of exceptional academic achievement in conjunction with a mix of strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Candidates should also have excellent organizational and time management skills as well as demonstrable leadership qualities outside of the classroom. Candidates must have an interest in and aptitude for credit analysis and high yield indenture / leveraged loan document review, with prior professional, academic, or extracurricular experiences supporting this as a desired qualification.
