The Senior Banker is responsible for delivering a high-touch and superior service experience to a portfolio of affluent clientele who have a minimum of $3MM in liquid/investable assets. As the main point of contact for the client, the Banker’s primary responsibility is to adopt a proactive and disciplined approach to expanding and retaining existing relationships and acquiring new affluent clients.
The Senior Banker facilitates efficient and accurate interactions between the client and investing business partners. Senior Banker also partners with the Investment Advisor to capture a greater share of client wallet, working the exact same book of business together.
The Senior Banker reports to the Regional Director.
Position Duties:
Develop, manage, and retain client relationships with high-net-worth individuals. As part of a Regional Team, participate in the Bank’s private banking efforts throughout Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, and other countries in Latin America. Services provided to these clients include banking, credit, and asset and risk management.
Work with both existing and prospective clients to grow Assets Under Management and establish new relationships.
Analyze investment opportunities to establish and maintain high-net-worth client relationships.
Review and analyze corporate financial reports, profit and earnings statements, and other financial data to reach preliminary conclusions regarding investment possibilities. Based on these analyses, prepare reports outlining company background, competitive position, profitability outlook, financial health and structure, valuation, liquidity, and timing.
Provide clients with up-to-the-minute investment information and carry out their investment decisions. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of investment products and services, including asset and risk management, banking, credit, and trusts.
Work closely with Private Wealth, Product, and Compliance teams to develop sales strategies for target clients and markets, ensuring that cross-business synergies are achieved.
Perform other duties as assigned or requested by the immediate supervisor.
Specialized Knowledge:
Knowledge of modeling techniques and financial analysis.
Strong understanding of banking and regulatory documentation requirements.
Knowledge of domestic and foreign securities markets and products.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to clients and other employees of the organization.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
7–10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated proficiency.
Experience managing processes or technology.
Strong sales and marketing skills.
Excellent corporate work ethic.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to proactively identify, address, and mitigate potential issues.
Proficiency in English and Spanish required.
Work Environment:
Duties are performed in an office environment. Physical demands may include:
Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in the operation of office equipment.
Light to moderate lifting (10–20 lbs.) and carrying of supplies, files, etc.
Ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees, both in person and over the phone.
Sufficient motor skills to move between office locations.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occassional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
