Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for administering, developing, testing, and demonstrating databases. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to design, implement, and maintain new databases, ensuring effective backup and recovery processes, and managing configuration settings. You will also install database management systems and contribute to the refinement of procedures and documentation for problem resolution and daily maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal database performance and reliability. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the design and implementation of database solutions that meet client needs. - Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration. - Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices. - Experience with backup and recovery strategies for database systems. - Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques. - Knowledge of security measures and compliance standards for database management. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration. - This position is based at our Noida office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
