This position is a fixed term position till end November 2025

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to drive the project plans that will enhance our ability to deliver vaccines to patients, and enable agile, optimised Vx CL&AP resource allocation, budget management and milestones tracking. The role will enable VX CL&AP to better understand how resources are currently deployed and utilized, as well as have greater transparency and confidence in resource and budget forecasts facilitating decisions around project strategies

Key Responsibilities

Key role in the delivery of:

  • Support to clinical and epi project on budget & resource management, roadmap development and milestone tracking
  • Cross Project/Functional support on resource and budget management and other relevant topics to further support the VX CL&AP business
  • Leading and supporting transversal project / process improvement to support VX CL&AP on continuous improvements

Responsible for:

  • Development of detailed clinical and epi project roadmaps and perform accurate milestone tracking
  • Facilitate the clinical and epi project budget and resource management process
  • Ensure that clinical and epi project milestones, resource and budget forecasting data are accurately reported to appropriate clinical governance.
  • Provide cross project/functional support to VX CL&AP on resource and budget management and other relevant topics.
  • Use data analysis, compile reports and propose alternative solutions/scenario’s in case of risks/issues in resource and budget management.
  • Encode, monitor and manage clinical and epi projects/studies data quality metrics within VX CL&AP capacity & budget management systems.  
  • Lead and support on transversal process and project improvement to support VX CL&AP on operational improvements.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Master’s degree in medical/life sciences or equivalent background.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Project Management beyond their own field of expertise. Demonstrated capability to integrate complex inter-departmental links, processes, databases, and systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and competency in laboratory processes and extended knowledge of ICH-GCP/GCLP rules.
  • Extensive operational experience in clinical laboratory activities and clinical study conduct
  • Proven experience in clinical project planning, project management and issues resolution

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Ability to quickly integrate with GSK clinical development processes and global network to build strong partnership with GSK stakeholders.
  • Experience of managing business remote matrix network of internal and external stakeholders of multicultural and multidisciplinary people with different expertise and various scientific background
  • Experience in leading various operational meetings
  • Experience of budget management
  • Experience in direct & indirect people management is an asset
