Position Overview

The Vice President of Global Security will lead worldwide security operations, developing and executing strategies to protect the company's global workforce of over 15,000 employees, assets, and business activities. This role requires partnering with senior leaders to assess and reduce enterprise security risks across the company's global presence.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Policy Development: Create and implement global security strategies, policies, and procedures in line with business objectives and international laws.
  • Leadership & Management: Manage a global security team and budget.
  • Risk Management & Intelligence: Conduct risk assessments and monitor global events to manage enterprise risk.
  • Security Operations: Oversee physical security, access control, surveillance, investigations, and threat mitigation.
  • Executive & Travel Security: Manage security programs for executives and employee travel globally.
  • Crisis Management & Business Continuity: Lead crisis response, incident management, and business continuity planning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments like HR, Legal, and IT to integrate security.
  • Training & Awareness: Promote security awareness and training for employees.
  • External Liaison: Build relationships with law enforcement and other security organizations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience:
    • Over 15 years in senior security or law enforcement, preferably in a large global company.
    • Experience with global security strategy and crisis management.
    • Managing global teams and significant budgets.
    • Knowledge of global security standards.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong leadership and communication, able to advise senior executives.
    • Problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
    • High ethical standards and discretion with confidential information.
    • Ability to travel globally (25-50%). 

The annual salary range for California is $ to $. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
