Our subsidiary, the 'Yield Technology Group' located in Feldkirchen (near Munich) develops and produces high-precision electron optical devices (electron microscopes) with a close collaboration with internationally networked locations such as Taiwan, India and California .

For our constantly growing location in Feldkirchen, we are looking to strengthening our team and hence actively looking for an Technical Program Manager (m/f/d) who is willing to join our development team and in close cooperation with developers, you will design solutions for the requirements of our customers.

Primary focus:

The focus is on the development of electronic components that control the electron-optical system of our devices. They develop, implement and test new (usually discrete) circuits, design programs for the system control and specify electronics and software from external suppliers.

Responsibilities:

  • Will prepare project plan and coordinates the attainment of project deliverables from planning to implementation. Maintains matrix for process improvements

  • Will drive project deliverables and task details by through the use reports, tracking charts and, checklists

  • Aligns the activities of resources internal to the business unit to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the project

  • Support and drive the engineering activities in regards of ECR creation, ECR managing, ECR time lines

  • Develop and implement the ECR strategy (how to optimize and minimize ECR work flow and friction into engineering team)

  • Match ECR strategy with SAP requirements and optimize for a lean process

Requirements:

  • This position requires a fast learner with a passion for engineering, systems thinking, managing projects, leading technical teams and building a strong win-win collaboration environment between large engineering technical organizations

  • .The best candidate will have systems, mechanical or electrical design and development experience, familiarity with and a passion for leading multiple concurrent engineering projects from concept, to testing and through to volume manufacturing

  • In this role, you will have responsibility for concurrent projects and will coordinate the work of subsystem leads and design engineers.  This will require strong organizational skills, confidence in communicating with senior managers and directors across the company, and the ability to develop strong relationships with product development peers

  • The position requires 5+ years of experience or equivalent, a BS Degree in Engineering (Masters preferred) with a preference of experience in Systems, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering 

  • Demonstrated success as project leader or program manager and previous experience in the semiconductor equipment industry is preferred
