Job Summary

The Senior Manager, IT Audit takes a lead role in planning, organizing, and executing cybersecurity, IT and integrated audits with guidance from the Director of IT Audit. In this role you will lead a diverse, high performing team, sharing expertise and mentoring staff. This is a highly visible role that provides opportunities to interact frequently with technology leaders across McKesson.

Position Description

  • Provides oversight to multiple audit engagements, engagement planning, fieldwork and reporting
  • Manages strategic initiatives and leads in the development and implementation of a risk-based audit plan
  • Serves, and/or partners with subject matter expert(s) within audit or the business to analyze issues, establish and improve collaborative client relationships, and proactively work with client management to assess risk and improve internal controls
  • Provides independent oversight and thought leadership for audit disciplines ensuring that audit plans, frameworks, standards, and processes provide appropriate risk coverage
  • Provides insight in reviewing audit issues and identified root cause
  • Responsible for building, directly managing and developing diverse teams with the requisite knowledge and skillsets necessary to execute the audit plan through recruitment, training, coaching, skills assessment results review, performance management and related managerial activities
  • Escalates broad and systemic themes to Audit and business leaders
  • Develop and manage IT audit engagements, including pre and post-implementation reviews, integrated audits, core IT audits, compliance reviews, and cybersecurity audits
  • Support creation of materials and report for audit committee meetings
  • Partner with other audit leaders to monitor the progress of management action plans and completed audits through regular follow-ups
  • Review audit issues to ensure that they are well defined and root causes understood
  • Communicate and collaborate with peers, key business partners and executives in the development and execution of the audit plan
  • Support the integrated annual risk assessment process

Minimum Requirements

8+ years relevant work experience

2+ years people leader experience

Critical Skills

  • Adept at assessing complex IT environments and business processes to identify potential IT, financial and operational risks
  • Ability to prioritize activities while working on multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Understanding of audit risk and controls related to application control environments including information security, identity and access management, Dev(sec)ops, incident management, and change management
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage people in a way that inspires, develops, and delivers results
  • Demonstrated track record of integrity, innovation, and excellence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Access, Visio and Project)
  • Effective communication (orally and written) and possess strong presentation skills among all levels of management

Preferred Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience in a Big 4 auditing firm is preferred
  • IT Service Management or ITIL disciplines
  • Major ERP applications, including JD Edwards, SAP, PeopleSoft, and Hyperion
  • Unix and OS/400 based operating systems
  • Windows-based networks (in particular, Active Directory)
  • Cloud based security (AWS, Google Cloud)
  • TCP/IP networking protocol and TCP/IP-based networks
  • Databases, firewalls, authentication systems, and operational technology

Education
Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, Business, or Information Technology; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree

Certification/Licensure

Professional certification is strongly preferred (CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CPA)

Physical Requirements
General Office Demands; Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$105,100 - $175,100
