Responsibilities
First level technical support for internal and external customer base. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Day to day telephone system used internally
  • User Provisioning for multiple internal systems
  • Day to day Western Express MPLS Wide Area Network (WAN) troubleshooting
  • iSeries printer setup used internally
  • Mobile phone provisioning and troubleshooting for internal personnel
  • Laptop and Desktop Provisioning
  • Laptop and Desktop troubleshooting for internal users
  • Assume remote control over customers’ computers when necessary to resolve problems
  • Escalate cases when necessary

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Minimum 3-year experience in information technology or technical support
  • Extensive familiarity with Windows operating systems.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Office and Outlook 365 software options and functionality preferred

Preferred Skills

  • Laptop and desktop configuration knowledge
  • Familiarity with ScreenConnect, Spiceworks, Ring Central, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory all a plus
  • Ability to work with internal and external personnel in a calm, professional manner

Additional Notes:
Continue learning all aspects of Tier I Technical Support. Continue and grow knowledge of internal systems to become eligible to promote within the IT department. This is an in office position.

Schedule: Day Shift

Due to the collaborative nature of the work environment, the spontaneous need for idea generation and execution, and the potential for expedited remediations, responses, or information gathering, in-person, in-office attendance is an essential function of this position.
