Head of Sales, Enterprise Solutions

Position Summary 

We are seeking a Head of Enterprise Sales for a foundational leadership role within our Marketing & Sales Solutions division. As a key member of the divisional leadership team, you will be the chief architect of our future way of selling. This role is not just about leading a team; it's about creating a new, unified, and consultative sales model from the ground up. Your primary mandate will be to develop the process and organization that can provide a solution for any dealer partner at any stage of their journey—ensuring that whatever their challenge, we have a solution. This position is critical to our success as we prepare to transition into a public company and requires a leader adept at integrating teams, processes, and cultures in a complex, high-growth environment. 

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Report to head of Enterprise Solutions.  Team size TBD.  Responsible for revenue for segments with target revenue exceeding $TBDMM.

  • Develop and implement and deliver year-over-year sales growth within the Enterprise Solutions sector, focusing on Marketing and Sales Solutions assets.

  • Drive sales performance to meet and exceed revenue targets, including managing a robust sales pipeline and providing accurate forecasting to executive teams. 

  • Design and refine sales strategies, processes, and structures to drive rapid revenue growth and increased sales velocity.

  • Provide functional leadership by reviewing major account plans, managing the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate revenue forecasting, and developing sales targets and compensation plans.

  • Lead, recruit, mentor, motivate and scale a top-tier sales team to support business growth.

  • Serve as the architect of the team's sales processes; assess existing structures, align talent, and implement scalable best practices for operational excellence. 

  • Collaborate with peers to integrate the “voice of the customer” into marketing, product, and operational strategies.

  • Manage internal and external change positively to ensure team adoption of new programs and approaches.

  • Lead a team that sells a diverse product set with products that have different and complex sales cycles.

  • Work with the team to align with target customer account strategies, facilitating regular meetings to discuss opportunities and refine account plans.

  • Coordinate cross-divisional resources for customer accounts and ensure focus on meeting annual sales objectives.

  • Coordinate with Customer Success and Solution Consulting to ensure alignment and drive achievement of revenue targets.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in a senior sales leadership role within a high-growth enterprise SaaS or technology company. 

  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience successfully integrating blended or newly-formed teams, with a keen ability to assess talent, align processes, and unify culture through periods of significant organizational change. 

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth. 

  • Experience operating within a publicly-traded company or navigating a corporate spin-off is strongly preferred. 

  • Extensive industry knowledge across the automotive value chain, with a strong interest in services that support sales and marketing with customers that include OEMs, NSCs, Dealer Groups, Agencies and Third Parties.

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships and communicate effectively at all organizational levels, including C-suite, and lead teams that can do the same.

  • Strong understanding of leading a team through complex sales workflows and strategic objectives to deliver solution-based outcomes.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in sales CRM software; experience with Salesforce is a plus.

  • Understanding of sales performance metrics and willingness to travel up to 50% for meetings with customers, teams, and industry conferences.

  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving global sales results and leading high-performing teams.

  • Experience in managing change and fostering a collaborative team environment.

  • Passion for data analysis, using AI to deliver results, and leveraging insights for strategic decision-making.

  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work under limited supervision.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.  This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
