What will you do? 

As a Quality Systems Engineer at Johnson Controls, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes and systems. You will coordinate quality inspections, monitor compliance with quality standards, and ensure that products and services meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve analyzing quality data, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives.

How will you do it? 

  • Evaluate and enhance quality management systems and processes in accordance with industry best practices.

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with internal and external quality standards.

  • Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for identified quality issues.

  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to quality processes, standards, and procedures.

  • Provide training and support to team members on quality assurance methodologies and tools.

  • Engage with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure adherence to quality expectations and resolve quality-related concerns.

What are we looking for?  

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

  • Experience with ISO standards and quality improvement processes.

Preferred:

  • Professional certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, CQE, CQA).

  • Familiarity with statistical analysis software and quality management systems.

  • Ability to travel as needed for audits and supplier evaluations.
