Position Summary...

What you'll do...

We're seeking an experienced professional to enhance our company's data quality and reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and implementing efficient ETL solutions, strong reporting skills, and a commitment to performance optimization, all while being a collaborative team player with excellent communication and project management skills. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in SAP Payroll implementations, including at least one large-scale end-to-end SAP Payroll implementation, and proficiency in ABAP HR in the SAP HCM Payroll domain. In this role, the candidate will play a crucial part in the largest-ever payroll implementation for 2 million associates.

What you'll do:

  • Designing, developing, reviewing, debugging, and unit testing SAP HR ABAP, Portal, and Fiori applications with a focus on HCM & Payroll modules.
  • Translating requirements into technical solutions, gathering information, and code development. * Conducting technical unit testing, communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders, collaborating with project and cross-functional teams, and troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes.
  • Providing support to the payroll business and SAP payroll functional engineers by addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues, including assessing technical feasibility, identifying short and long-term solutions, performance optimization, facilitating resolutions, and leading cross-functional partnerships.
  • Mentoring junior members of the team.
  • Designing and implementing efficient ETL solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage and SAP BusinessObjects Data Services to enhance data quality and reporting capabilities across diverse industries.
  • Leveraging reporting tools like SAS and SAP Ariba for insightful data analysis, defining business rules, and creating source-to-target mappings.
  • Optimizing performance, with a focus on SQL query tuning and troubleshooting production issues.
  • Collaborating effectively with teams and managing resources.
  • Prioritizing tasks and managing resources effectively.
  • Completing training in GCP, Hadoop, HDFS, and Hive HQL to demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies.

 

What you'll bring:

  • Comprehensive understanding of Payroll business processes and technical specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of debugging and troubleshooting object-oriented ABAP HR issues.
  • Experience working closely with Business process teams and different systems.
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming, Dialog Programming, Modular Programming, Dynamic Programming, RFC, BAPI, BAdIs, & Parallel Processing.
  • Experience in designing and working extensively with interface between SAP HCM and Analyze support issues.
  • Ability to monitor and manage task progress and work with limited supervision and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Familiarity with SAP Payroll Control Center and ticketing tools like Service Now. Proficient in Unit and Performance testing, quality analysis, and integration testing.
  • Ability to create, manage, communicate, and meet project timelines and goals.
