As the Senior Accountant you’ll…

  • Complete operational accounting and reporting, including detailed analysis, reconciliation, and reporting of general ledger accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Controller and external accounting to bring operations in-house.
  • Manage sales tax reporting, payment, and reconciliations.
  • Record payroll, fixed asset entries and complete new analyses as needed.
  • Enhancement or creation of internal controls around assets, employee expenses, and financial reporting.
  • With Legal, manage insurance policies and requirements.
  • Partners cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, HR, Legal, and other department leads
  • Assist with financial statement audits and ERP implementation.
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

Ideally you’ll have…

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance or accounting, or related majors including business 
  • CPA preferred
  • 2+ years of accounting experience 
  • High level of attention to detail and experience in financial accounting and financial reporting. 
  • Experience working in a high-growth, dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Data-driven problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and drive quality and process improvements

The estimated base salary range for this position is $126k to $151k, which does not include the value of benefits or a potential equity grant. A wide range of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, market conditions, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and business and organizational needs. At Mill, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
