Essential Job Functions:

The IT Service Delivery Manager will oversee and manage the wmA platform, with in-depth knowledge of its customizations and insurance products that have been developed over time. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations, delivering client-facing services, and driving process improvements for multiple accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for combining IT teams/resources across accounts to enhance efficiency and lower costs.

  • Primary IT first point of contact.
  • Daily Face to Face communication with Client on status, issues, escalations regarding production as well as billable Discretionary work.
  • Weekly Client Status Meeting and Financial updates.
  • Financial invoicing / approval of project work.
  • Direction and Oversight of Entire Production support teams across clients.
  • Process Improvements and resource efficiencies.
  • Play a key role in the wmA Center of Excellence.
  • Will be leveraging applicable improvements done for the accounts as well as cross-training and combining the IT teams/resources to gain efficiencies and lower costs for all three accounts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of wmA and the customizations to the wmA product as well as other relevant insurance products.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role years of experience in software engineering
  • Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies.
  • Strong programming and debugging skills.
  • Some prior experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a leadership role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
