Job Description

About the Role

As Materials Specialist, you will administer processes and tasks to support global materials strategies and materials research and development.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Support the processes related to materials strategies and research and development to design intent

  • Maintain fabric, sample and inspiration libraries to support materials and wash development needs

  • Responsible for data entry and maintenance of Product Lifecycle Management  (PLM), including fabric palettes, wash libraries and mill libraries

  • Support communication with vendors and suppliers

  • Maintain, communicate and follow up charts of seasonal development

  • Support the creation of presentations, imaging of developed products

  • Manage team administrative duties, including travel, expenses and calendars

  • Partner with agents, mills and vendors directly to ensure the accuracy of fabric information

  • Manage all incoming and outgoing packages, including tracking

  • Additional tasks may be assigned

 

What Skills You Have

Required

  • Ability to multitask

  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite

  • Ability to complete tasks with minimum direction 

 

Preferred

  • High level of organizational skills
