Job Description
About the Role
As Materials Specialist, you will administer processes and tasks to support global materials strategies and materials research and development.
What You’ll Do
Support the processes related to materials strategies and research and development to design intent
Maintain fabric, sample and inspiration libraries to support materials and wash development needs
Responsible for data entry and maintenance of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), including fabric palettes, wash libraries and mill libraries
Support communication with vendors and suppliers
Maintain, communicate and follow up charts of seasonal development
Support the creation of presentations, imaging of developed products
Manage team administrative duties, including travel, expenses and calendars
Partner with agents, mills and vendors directly to ensure the accuracy of fabric information
Manage all incoming and outgoing packages, including tracking
Additional tasks may be assigned
What Skills You Have
Required
Ability to multitask
Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
Ability to complete tasks with minimum direction
Preferred
High level of organizational skills
