Position Requirements

NAPA is seeking a full time Anesthesiologist to provide anesthesia care Monday-Friday at various NAPA Ambulatory Surgery Centers throughout Maryland. This position is a full time, W2 role with full benefits! Advanced ultrasound regional blocks and healthy pediatrics experience is required.

Maryland ASCs:

  • Fort Washington Medical Center/ Adventist Health
  • Frederick Surgery Center
  • Cumberland Valley Surgery Center.
  • Baltimore area ASCs

Case Assignments

Ortho, Pediatrics, GI, Plastics, ECTs

Shifts

  • Monday-Friday
  • 7:30am-4:30pm
  •  No nights, no weekends, no call.
  • Diversity in a weekly schedule and case mix

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

  • M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
  • ECFMC and FLEX
  • Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
  • Currently licensed as a physician
  • Advanced ultrasound regional blocks and healthy pediatrics experience is required.
