Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

Responsible for helping to implement strategic underwriting strategies for the B&M practice. Primary point of accountability to Business Partners and other stakeholders for the management and implementation of medium to large size initiatives that support the achievement of moderate to complex unit or corporate goals.
What Will You Do?
- Participate in the strategic business planning activities for the Division that are designed to increase the presence in the market of the products.
- Assist the the UW Services Director or leadership team in the development and implementation of new products providing direction and training, as necessary, to the staff regarding production underwriting and marketing impact.
- Control planning and execution of the projects or program's activities and resources to ensure that established cost, time and quality goals are met.
- Apply project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project manage deliverables, processes and systems in order to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations.
- Responsible for training efforts to ensure they are consistent with profit, growth and retention strategies related to the businesses goals.
- Ensure effective utilization of monitoring standards to assess underwriting results on production and loss results within the business.
- Analyze market needs and trends as they impact field office underwriting goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal resources (i.e. Risk Control, Claim, Operations, etc.) to facilitate the operationalizing of underwriting strategies.
- Develop underwriting knowledge and skill expertise that will allow authority for CURE and over-authority to increase over time.

- Four years of underwriting experience.
