Team/Role Overview

Through managing the employee expense reimbursement process, Citi’s SCO Employee Expense Processing Team plays a pivotal role in supporting Citi’s mission. We are seeking a Manager to join our dynamic team. Your job will be focused on leading the team performing the transactional processing and meeting policy compliance requirements and SLA. Handling certain escalations related to the process with a primary focus on effective stakeholder management. Participating in and implementing global initiatives led by the Global Process Lead and Global Transformation Lead, driving process improvements and efficiencies.

What you’ll do

• Lead and mentor a small Operation Support team (typically up to 10) through delegating daily tasks and responsibilities as well as recommending new work procedures to help streamline operations. Conduct training, monitor quality and quantity of the team’s work and provide feedback on performance, including making recommendations on pay increases, promotions, terminations, etc.
• Analyze Operations information and make evaluative judgements to solve problems
• Responsible for Identifying and resolving routine problems and operational issues with broader departmental impact within established procedures
• Identify hiring needs to ensure adequate staffing
• Serve as a backup for more senior manager, as needed

What we’ll need from you

• 2-5 years in an accounting role including at least one-year supervisory experience
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in addition to fluent English
• Proactive leadership and motivational skills
• Proven organization and time management skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Innovation focused approach with ability to see the big picture
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
