POSITION SUMMARY

The job holder will assume functional responsibilities for fleet licensing, insurance and compliance matters reporting to North China LB&MB Distribution Manager. Will provide functional expertise on licensing and administrative processes pertaining to acquisition and disposal of fleet. Will work closely with the local distribution supervisors to ensure that AP fleet comply with all the regulatory requirements.

Nature and Scope

The job holder is in charge of the registration and renewal of vehicle license and permits,

To procure licenses and operational permits for new vehicles and updated existing licenses and permits as stipulated. To establish a system for documentation filing regarding fleet license management. The incumbent will be expected to work in a matrix organization to provide insurance, road tax, licensing and permit services in a timely manner for all the fleets assigned in that region. 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Knowing /complying with China D.O.T and Labor Bureau safety regulations. To work with CSO (schedulers), distribution team and vehicle mechanic for making up license renewal plan to ensure normal product delivery to customers To supervise on procurement of licenses and permits for new operational vehicles and pressure vessels and on update to existing licenses and permits To provide vehicle information required for SAP master data loading To process all licenses and operational permits for new vehicles and pressure vessels and renewal of existing licenses and permits for existing fleet to ensure that all vehicles operate with valid licenses and permits in accordance to the country’s regulation. In the process of application and renewal of licenses and permits, the incumbent will have to interact closely with the Transportation Bureau, Fire Bureau, Labour Bureau and Traffic Control Bureau to ensure smooth flow of work. The incumbent is expected to keep up to update knowledge of any new government policies or procedures that pertain to the vehicle license and permit and highlight any policies that may have potential impact on the operation of  fleet. Maintain up-to-date records of all documents pertaining to the validity of license and permits for the vehicles.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Vehicle driving experience. Good communication and interpersonal skill  Scheduling & dispatching experience is desirable College major in vehicle transportation or above. Be familiar with the procedures of licenses and operational permits for operational vehicles and pressure vessels. English desirable but not mandatory, at least be able to understand/read English.
