Summary

Processes a high volume of vendor invoices across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy, and timely payment. Reconciles vendor statements and resolves discrepancies through direct communication with vendors and internal departments. Leverages automated systems to support reporting, month-end close, and ongoing process improvements.

Job Description

Other Job Duties:

• Process weekly check, ACH, and wire payments in accordance with company controls
• Review vendor invoices and statements
• Process returned and blocked payments, including issue resolution
• Prepare quarterly accrual reports
• Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts
• Process, review, and research Intercompany Invoices as needed
• Enter and manage payment requests across multiple systems
• Identify and resolve GR/IR discrepancies 
• Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to resolve discrepancies and support timely payment processing
• Understand and adhere to approval and signing authority guidelines. 
• Meets deadlines associated with month-end and accounting close cycles

Job Complexity

• Perform tasks requiring judgment, initiative, and strong attention to detail. Identifies opportunities for process improvements and supports implementation as needed

Supervision  

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Determines appropriate methods and procedures for assigned tasks while collaborating with team

Education and Experience

• High School Degree or equivalent. Associate’s degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred
• Accounting experience and/or Accounts Payable experience preferred
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other standard office applications
